Tech Immersion and Placement Programme

Metis Data Science bootcamp is supported under the TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA)’s Tech Immersion and Placement Programme (TIPP), an initiative to build and develop a skilled Information and Communication Technology (ICT) workforce for Singapore’s digital economy. Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents qualified for the programme shall enjoy subsidy support for the course fee. Relevant terms and conditions apply.

Subsidy Support

Full course fee (Inclusive of GST)*: S$16,050
TIPP subsidy** S$9,100
Course fee payable (After eligible subsidy) S$5,900
GST on full course fee S$1,050
Total course fee payable (Inclusive of GST) S$6,950

*The total fee covers study guides, intensive seminars, workshops, assignments and examinations (if applicable).
**Applicants aged 40 years old and above are eligible for higher subsidies, please contact us.



NTUC members enjoy 50% *unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP.

Please note that you are required to fulfil the following conditions, to be eligible for UTAP reimbursement:

  1. Paid-up union membership before course commencement, throughout whole course duration and at the point of claim
  2. Course by training provider must commence within the supported period
  3. The course must not be funded through company sponsorship or other types of funding
  4. You must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for each application and have sat for all prescribed examination(s), if any
  5. UTAP application must be submitted within six months after course completion

Selection Process

Kaplan Learning Institute reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet the criteria and is subject to the selection process conducted during the pre-registration. Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents qualified for the TIPP are eligible for subsidy support for the course fee.

Eligibility Criteria for Subsidy Support
  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Be selected and accepted by Kaplan and Metis admission team
  • Must be committed to complete the tech bootcamp training and relevant projects/assignments
  • Must be committed to work in a tech job role related to the training received, join or build a tech start up in Singapore, and provide valid proof of placement outcome within 6 months from the bootcamp completion
  • Agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the student contract
